"Twisting," as this art is commonly referred to, is a fun hobby that can also be a source of side income via party entertainment. We will cover the following topics in this course:
Types and sizes of balloons most commonly used in twisting
Basic equipment set up for twisting
Various balloon creations and twisting techniques (depending on class size and skill level)
Hand care when dealing with balloons for extended periods
How to maximize the amount of items you can twist at a party by purposefully selecting which items you plan to make.
How to market and sell your skill in order to start making money
Lead instructor Joe Eckes has several years of experience in providing party entertainment as a magician, juggler, and balloon twister. He brings with him a knowledge of the art, and insights into starting a small side business that has potential to grow into a steady source of money.
Allergy Warning: This course uses latex balloons. Not suitable for children with a latex allergy.
This class teaches the following skills: Manual dexterity, public speaking, negotiating and marketing skills, and time management.
